Epoxy Flooring in fortville, IN

Garage floors built for fortville weather

A garage floor in fortville takes a real beating. Hot tyres pull in off the drive in summer. Road salt rides in on the undercarriage every winter. Oil and coolant drip year-round. A coating that is rolled straight over bare, unprepared concrete will lift at the tyres within a year or two — and that is not a product failure, it is a preparation failure. We start every fortville garage by mechanically grinding the slab to open the concrete and remove the weak surface layer the original pour leaves behind.

From there we repair cracks, joints and spalls, and we test for moisture before any coating goes down. Vapour rising through the slab is the most common cause of a coating failure, and a slab near fortville can hold more moisture than you would guess from the surface. Only then do we build the system in layers: a primer that soaks into the prepared concrete, a build coat that carries a full-broadcast decorative flake, and a UV-stable top coat that resists hot tyres, salt, oil and the sunlight that streams in through the garage door.

Most residential garages in the fortville area are ground, repaired and coated in one to two days, with light foot traffic the day after and vehicles back on the floor a few days later once the system has fully cured. We are licensed and insured for the work we do, and every install is backed by a written workmanship guarantee.
